This policy explains what information the Koala Player app for Smart TVs (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and Android TV) and the activation website koalatv.web.app collect, why, and what your rights are. Koala Player is published by Clique Certo.

1. Koala Player does not provide content

Koala Player is a media player. It does not include, sell or host any channels, movies or series. It only plays playlists (M3U or Xtream Codes) that you add yourself.

2. Information that stays only on your TV

• Playlist addresses, usernames and passwords you enter;
• Favorites, watch history, "continue watching" positions and settings;
• The parental control PIN.

This information is stored locally on the TV and is never sent to us. When you play content, your TV connects directly to the playlist provider you chose; that provider has its own privacy policy.

3. Information sent to our license server

To manage the free trial and the annual license, the app sends to our server:

• The device's network MAC address (on LG TVs, which do not expose the MAC, an identifier derived from the device unique ID provided by LG; when neither is available, a random identifier generated by the app);
• The platform (Samsung, LG or Android TV) and a device label such as "TV Samsung 1A:2B".

This is used only to identify the TV, count the trial period and check whether the license is active. It is not used for advertising or profiling.

4. Information collected when you buy a license

On the activation page you enter the code shown on the TV and an e-mail address. Payment is made by PIX through Mercado Pago, which processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We store the payment identifier, status, amount, date, the e-mail address and the device it activates, to release the license and to handle support or refund requests. We never receive or store card or bank details.

5. Remote control from your phone

The optional "Control from phone" feature communicates only between your TV and your phone on your local network. Nothing from this feature is sent to our servers.

6. Service providers

Our server and database run on Google Firebase (Google Cloud), which may record technical data such as IP addresses in its logs to operate and secure the service. Payments are processed by Mercado Pago. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

7. Retention

Device and license records are kept while the license is in use and for as long as required by law (for example, tax and consumer-protection rules for payment records). You may ask us to delete your data at any time; data we are legally required to keep will be deleted when that obligation ends.

8. Your rights

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and information about how it is used. Send your request to [email protected], including the device code shown on the TV.

9. Children

Koala Player is not directed to children. The app offers a parental control PIN to restrict categories.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
